The Lightning Theif

I just read The Lightning Thief. It is a very exciting book. It is packed with action and adventure. Percy Jackson has gone to many schools where he has been attcked by manymonsters such as the minitoar. He eventually makes it to Half Blood Hill. Where He meets many other Demigods or Half Bloods. He then trains for a quest that he must except. Him and his friend grover and another demigod go on a journey to save hi mom from the underworld and to return Zeus's lightning bolt before it's to late. On his journey he has battles with the furries and Medusa. He meets Ares and fights almost to the death with him. Percy fights the Chimera who almost burnes him to a crisp. During his jorney his father Posieden sends him messages guiding him along .
